On this particular day, I observed a craniotomy procedure aimed at excising a recurrent tumor from the parietotemporal region of a young girl. This was not her first surgery; she had previously undergone a craniotomy in 2018. Watching the surgeons work meticulously, excising the tumor with blunt dissection and suction, was both fascinating and heart-wrenching. The operation lasted over three hours, a testament to the complexity and severity of her condition.
But it wasn’t just the technical aspects of the surgery that left an impression on me. The resilience of the patient, the dedication of the surgical team, and the emotional weight of knowing this young girl was fighting for her life — all these elements combined to create a powerful narrative that I felt compelled to document.

Another day that stands out in my memory is 8th March 2023, Wednesday — Neurosurgery OT. Due to an upset stomach, I missed the OT on 7th March but returned on the 8th to find a bustling environment. The neurosurgery and orthopedic OTs had merged due to construction work, creating a hectic atmosphere.

During a thoracic vertebral fixation procedure, a scrubbed nurse experienced a hypoglycemic shock. In a moment of urgency, I lifted her in my arms and seated her in a chair.
